A 1930 building on Warren Avenue North, converted to condominiums in 1987 and run since by the people who live in it.
Queen's Court went up in 1930 as a hotel, on a quiet residential block of Warren Avenue North between Denny Way and John Street. It was converted to thirty-four condominium units in 1987, and the brick, the proportions and the garden courtyard are original to the building.
The association owns and maintains the exterior, the roof, the grounds, the common laundry, the storage rooms and the shared systems. Homeowners own their units. What each side is responsible for is set out in the declaration and the bylaws, both of which are in the portal.
The building sits a block from Climate Pledge Arena and a five-minute walk from Seattle Center, which is the reason most people move here and occasionally the reason the block is busy. Downtown is fifteen minutes on foot and the RapidRide D line is two blocks away.
